Bachata Battle Competition!

It's time for another installment of the most exciting dance competition in Poland! Bachata Battle is an event that brings together the best dancers from Poland and abroad, focusing on solo improvisation in a unique format. International judges, electrifying duels and an atmosphere of competition will make the dance floor burn with emotions.

Participants will showcase their skills during group eliminations, where technique, musicality, style and charisma will be considered. The most spectacular stage will be the final in the "7 to Smoke" formula, where each of the finalists will fight for the title of champion, competing in a dynamic concept. Join us and experience these unforgettable moments!

what time?

Saturday 11.10 17:00 organizational meeting for participants Saturday 11.10 17:30-18:30 qualifying round

All participants they dance at the same time in the middle of the room, presenting themselves to the jury. Each dancer is assessed individually based on several key elements – technique, musicality, style and stage presence and the ability to stand out in a group. The dance must be based at least 75% on bachata, with different variations of this style being allowed, such as Sensual, Dominicana Whether Fusion.

This is a dynamic and intense round in which not only the quality of the dance counts, but also the personality, energy and the way the dancer attracts attention.

All participants dance in the middle. Judges evaluate in three categories: technique (0–4 points), musicality (0–4 points) and style (0–4 points), for a maximum of 12 points.

Participants dance to a variety of music: sensual, Dominican, remixes and fusion, which allows for an assessment of their versatility and matching style to the song.

What do the jurors evaluate?

No, you won't be dancing in the same place the whole time.

After three songs, line changes will be made to ensure that each participant has an equal chance to be seen by the jury. This allows each dancer to perform at their best, regardless of their initial line-up.

The competition selects songs from different styles of bachata: traditional, modern, sensual and remixes. They vary in tempo and character to test the versatility of the dancers.

what time?

Saturday 11.10 21:30-23:00 final 7 to Smoke

The final is held separately for each category. Ladies and Men. Eight finalists compete in dynamic duels 1 on 1. Everyone has 60 seconds to show your style, technique and creativity. After each round, the jury indicates the winner with a hand gesture, and the winning dancer scores 1 point.

The winner is the person from the highest number of points after 25 minutes of competition, and second and third place are awarded to the next runners up in the points classification.

The contest format assumes that one of the dancers starts as the "King/Queen of the Hill", standing in the middle of the dance floor. The remaining participants take turns taking on the challenge in one-on-one duels. After each round, the jury indicates the winner with a hand gesture - the dancer who wins gets one point and stays in the middle, while the loser goes to the end of the line.

What do the jurors evaluate?

In the final, the judges will evaluate primarily technique, musicality and style dancer, paying attention to the precision of movements, interpretation of music and the individual character of the performance. It is important that the dance in at least The 75% was based on bachata, although different variations are allowed, such as Sensual, Dominicana Whether Fusion.

The winner will be decided by overtime or the jury's final decision.
